Cross Country Report and Results Div 3/4 Lloyd Park 14th January
The
third match of the Surrey League took place at Lloyd Park on
Saturday in glorious winter sunshine.
Twelve BA runners lined up at the
start and it was Adam Juniper making a
welcome return to the team who
finished an excellent 11th overall leading
them home. Not far behind
was Paul Knechtl in 16th place and then
came Chris Kelly and Gary
Rushmer. Unfortunately Mark Taylor had to
drop out with a calf injury.
In the team event we recorded our best
result of the season in 7th
place, however we are now almost certainly
going to be in Div 4 next
year. Thanks to all the runners and
supporters who turned up. Our final
match is on the 11th February at this same
venue and it would be good
to finish on a high note.
