Cross country run
Hello
I am involved in organising a cross country
run which I thought would be of interest to your running group. I found your
details through the Surrey Athletics website and would be grateful if you could
forward/promote this to your members.
The details are as follows:
4 MILE CROSS COUNTRY RUN
Bank Holiday Monday
7 May 2012 at 2pm
(Including a Children’s Fun Race at 1.15pm)
Rusper, Near Horsham
This race is suitable for runners of all
abilities and there will be a wide range of prizes on offer.
The pretty village of Rusper is situated
centrally between the towns of Crawley and Horsham and has for several years
celebrated May Day by closing the high street to traffic and holding their
annual village celebrations.
For the second year in a row a traditional
cross country race will be staged over a scenic 4 mile course starting in the
village. All are welcome to these festivities, which also includes May Pole
Dancing, Hog Roast, Punch & Judy, Classic Car show,
steam engines, stalls, high value raffle
prizes and much more!
